The Union of Fenwyck and Waer fantasy role-playing campaign

Campaign background information

The number of handouts has steadily increased as the campaign has progressed; here you can find all the handouts relating to campaign background information for players, as opposed to various handouts given out in play to player characters (such as issues of the Sun Post).

  • The original player's handout, designed to introduce the players to adventuring in the Union of Fenwyck and Waer, containing information about that nation and some of the surrounding lands, including politics, geography, religion, magic, the various denizens (humanoids & non alike) to be found therein.
  • Session 17 Addendum [PDF] [PS] to the player's background has some more information about political structures in the Union, magic use, and introduces the farthing (valued at one fourth of a pence).
  • House rules for the campaign, governing character creation, magic, alternate and expanded rules, etc. In case of conflict, the rules presented here take precedence over all others.
  • Feorha world template, describing the campaign world a la the GURPS WebWorlds Project. Basically a summary of the campaign world, with info on tech levels, magic use, and other genre-related information.
  • A summary of timekeeping conventions in the Union, including the days of the week, months of the year, and the always popular calendar wheel.
  • The world map of Feorha, as (mis-?)conceived by the player characters.
  • The Union Church handout [PDF] [PS] contains religious information for human PCs who are members or otherwise have some knowledge of that church; useful for PCs from Minrosi Church lands as well, such as Onderberg.
  • For dwarf and gnome PCs there is Dwarfkin: dwarves and gnomes in the Union [PDF] [PS].
  • The súfacht contains information and rules for use of this magical resource for those PCs who have been taught about this phenomenon (i.e. for Melea and Watkyn only!!!).
