ABOUT IMAGIWARE

Useful is a good place to start.

Imagiware is an independent collection of web tools for people who build, maintain, and care about websites.

A few things, done thoughtfully.

The idea is simple: everyday web questions should have straightforward answers. Is this image missing alternative text? Where does that URL redirect? What metadata does a page actually serve?

Our tools focus on these small, concrete questions. You can check a public page or work with pasted HTML, read the findings, and decide what to change. The core tools are free and do not require an account.

How the checks work.

HTML Checkup applies a set of source-level rules to the HTML you provide. Redirect Inspector follows server responses. Meta & Social Preview reads page metadata and offers an illustrative preview.

Pasted HTML is analyzed in your browser. When you submit a URL, our server requests that public page and returns its source information. The tools do not sign into websites or execute their JavaScript.

A helpful check is a starting point. These tools do not certify HTML conformance, accessibility, security, or search performance. They cannot judge every image description or interaction. Review the findings, test your pages, and use specialist tools where needed.

A new project at a familiar address.

This version of Imagiware is a new, independent project. Archived versions of the domain hosted Doctor HTML and other utilities in the 1990s. We preserve the useful /RxHTML/ address while providing a new implementation.

That history belongs to its original authors. We do not claim to have created the earlier software or to have operated the earlier company. Our history page links to the original records and credits.

Imagiware also introduces independent websites from the same current owner. Coffee Corner explores brewing methods, coffee equipment, and practical brewing calculations. Each project has its own purpose and editorial content.
