TERMS OF USE

A few straightforward ground rules.

Imagiware offers free tools to help you inspect and understand web pages. Use them thoughtfully and review the results.

What the service provides.

The tools offer automated observations about page source, metadata, and HTTP responses. Reports are informational. They do not certify standards compliance, accessibility, security, search rankings, or the correctness of your website.

Source-level checks cannot evaluate all content and behavior. The tools do not execute the inspected site’s JavaScript, reproduce a complete browser session, or guarantee that another visitor or crawler will receive the same response.

Use the tools responsibly.

Inspect public pages you own or have a legitimate reason to check. Do not use the service to attempt access to private networks, bypass restrictions, overload websites, or perform automated abuse. Respect the sites you inspect and their applicable terms.

Do not submit secrets, personal data that you do not have permission to process, or confidential URLs. Read our privacy notice for the difference between local HTML analysis and server-based URL requests.

Availability and results.

The service is provided as available. Checks may fail because of network errors, site restrictions, response limits, or changes to the tool. Findings can be incomplete or incorrect. Review suggested changes before applying them and keep your own backups.

We may change, limit, or discontinue tools. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not provide a warranty of uninterrupted service or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing here excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Your content and third-party material.

You retain your rights in the source you provide. Submitting material for a check does not transfer ownership to Imagiware. Historical references and third-party names belong to their respective owners.

The present tools are new implementations. The domain’s history does not imply affiliation with or endorsement by the original Doctor HTML authors, W3C, or other referenced organizations.

Related projects and external links.

The projects directory identifies websites under the same current ownership. Those sites are separate services and may have different terms and privacy practices. Historical and technical reference links are provided for context.
