Pasted HTML stays in your browser.
When you paste HTML into HTML Checkup or Meta & Social Preview, the tool analyzes it locally in your browser. The application does not send that pasted source to our server. Pasted HTML is treated as text and is not rendered as a live page.
The tools do not deliberately load images, scripts, or other resources from pasted source. A social-image URL is shown as text with a placeholder in the preview.
URL checks use a server request.
When you ask a tool to inspect a public URL, that URL is sent to our server. The server requests the public page and, where relevant, follows redirects. It returns the source or response information needed for your results.
The website being checked can see a request from our service. Do not submit private links, access tokens, passwords, signed URLs, or other confidential information in a URL. Only public HTTP and HTTPS resources are supported.
Results and account information.
No account is required. We do not provide a saved-results database or a public report-sharing feature. Results are held in the current page session unless you copy or download them yourself.
Cookies and analytics.
The Imagiware application does not currently set analytics or advertising cookies, and it does not include a third-party analytics tracker. We do not use the tool inputs to create advertising profiles.
Hosting, network, and security providers may process technical request data, including IP addresses, timestamps, URLs, user agents, and error information, to deliver and protect the service. We do not promise that infrastructure-level logs are absent.
External websites.
Links to historical archives, references, and related projects take you to external services. Those services have their own privacy practices. Visiting a project listed here is a separate visit to that website.
